Privacy policy
Short version: what you paste into a tool stays on your device. Last updated 13 September 2026.
Tool input and output
Almost every tool on this site executes in your browser. The text, files or images you provide are processed locally and are not transmitted to CodesBeautify or to any third party. Closing the tab discards everything except the settings listed below.
Network lookup tools
A few tools cannot work inside a browser alone: DNS lookup, WHOIS, IP information, HTTP header, redirect checking and the API request tester. For these, the domain, IP address, URL or request you enter is sent to a small lookup service running on Cloudflare, which performs the request and returns the result to you. That input is not saved to a database or log by us. Requests to private or local network addresses are refused, and a per-address rate limit is applied to prevent abuse.
What is stored in your browser
The site keeps two small preferences in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice, and, when you use a "Swap" button between two converters, the output being carried to the next page (removed as soon as that page loads). The only cookies are the Google Analytics and advertising cookies described below.
Hosting logs
Pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and traffic reporting. These logs do not contain tool input, because tool input never leaves your browser. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Advertising
The site reserves space for Google AdSense. When ads are active, Google may set cookies and use identifiers to serve and measure ads in line with Google's advertising policies. Ads are loaded in isolated frames and have no access to the editor contents. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Where required by law, a consent prompt will appear before any advertising cookie is set.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools people use, which countries and devices they visit from, and how they found the site. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and collects standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type. It never receives what you paste into a tool, because tool input stays in your browser. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Contact form
The contact page links to an email address. Messages you send are handled by that mail provider and kept only as long as needed to answer you.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
